Heat safety advice during hot weather

  1. Avoid midday sun by staying out of direct sunlight between 11am and 3pm.
  2. Plan activity wisely by scheduling physical activity for cooler parts of the day.
  3. Keep your home cool by closing windows and curtains in sun‑facing rooms.
  4. Protect your skin by wearing suitable clothing, hats, sunglasses, and using sunscreen outdoors.
